At Step Outside OT, we support children who may struggle with sensory processing, motor coordination challenges, emotional regulation, social interactions, or everyday tasks like handwriting and self-care. Our sessions are designed to uncover each child’s strengths and use them as a foundation for growth—helping them build confidence, independence, and resilience in ways that feel natural and empowering.
Whether we’re working on occupational therapy goals in a home-based setting throughout Santa Clarita, or targeting occupational therapy goals in nature based settings, therapy is personalized, playful, and rooted in real-life experiences that translate to meaningful progress at home and school. We also partner closely with parents, offering guidance and practical strategies to help families understand, support, and advocate for their children in daily life.

In-home occupational therapy offers children the comfort and security of learning right where they live. It allows skills to be practiced in real-life familiar settings. We provide OT services to families within Santa Clarita and Castaic area.
Nature-based occupational therapy services provide OT services within Castaic and Santa Clarita Valley parks, nature spaces and community farms. We work outdoors to achieve therapy goals and benefit from the healing power of nature.
Our seasonal 6 week inclusive nature based enrichment groups focus on social connection and nature exploration. Facilitated by Occupational Therapists, these groups ensure all children feel a sense of belonging and success. Groups take place at local parks and community farms throughout Castaic and Santa Clarita Valley.
