01.Home-Based Occupational Therapy
In-Home Occupational Therapy in Santa Clarita brings therapy directly into the heart of a child’s daily life—home. Jamie partners with families to create supportive routines and meaningful experiences using the resources and environments they already have. Sessions are collaborative and strengths-based, focusing on empowering children and parents alike. Together, we work on developing healthy habits, building independence in self-care and mealtimes, and creating sensory-friendly strategies.
02.Nature Based Occupational Therapy
At Step Outside OT, therapy can look and feel like an adventure. Whether at one of Santa Clarita Valley’s or Castaic’s beautiful parks, or in a local nature space, we use the power of nature as a partner. With the guidance and expertise of your OT, taking therapy outdoors encourages and inspires children to explore and regulate their senses, take calculated and supported risks, all while developing motor skills in ways that are unique compared to a traditional clinic or home based therapy.
03.Seasonal Enrichment Programs
Coming Soon! Nature enrichment groups for everybody! Facilitated by licensed Occupational Therapists, these 6 week inclusive nature enrichment programs encourage child led play, social participation, collaborative problem solving, and creation all while supporting the child's unique needs. Groups are held at Santa Clarita or Castaic parks and nature centers, they run for 90 minutes and are capped at 10 kids to allow for deeper connections.
